Skype Is Annoying
Dec. 22nd, 2012 07:27 amSide effect - and distracted me from what I meant to post.
I clicked the Skype icon to bring it up so I could call someone (yes, Skype does text, duh).
Instead of popping up skype it tells me I have no new messages. Like I care about that - I never have new messages you stupid app, no one talks to me! Just open up like a normal program does when you click its icon in the tray.
DUH
as a software engineer for over 15 years - since I was a TEENAGER - I can tell you, with complete confidence, no one wants that confirmation thing. No one. CEOs don't count since they find pencils confusing.
If I clicked it I want it. If I didn't want it then I know where to find the X to close it. You would think these apps were written in the UK (the Nanny State).
Stop asking us if we want to do what we asked to do.
Just stop.
